We are brave, we are ambitious, we are honest, and we are Citizen!

Do you thrive off creating and leading communication that genuinely inspires colleagues? Do you enjoy working with people at all levels to build connection and drive engagement?

At Citizen, we recognise how fundamental internal communication is to our success. We’re looking for a brilliant Internal Communication Business Partner who will help colleagues feel connected to Citizen’s purpose, vision and values, and inspired about where we’re heading.

Working alongside a skilled team of internal communications professionals, you’ll lead our channel strategy to deliver positive change and enhance the colleague experience. Highly organised and proactive, you’ll also lead on colleague events that resonate with people at all levels of the organisation.

You’ll bring strong internal communications experience and excellent stakeholder relationship skills, using these to coach leaders and build greater connectivity across Citizen. You’ll be confident working closely with Executive leadership teams and will take the lead on how we communicate with line managers, equipping and supporting them to engage their teams effectively.

This is a rare opportunity to shape internal communication at Citizen and to lead communications that truly reach colleagues across geographically dispersed locations.

Recruiting manager, Sonia Squires, Head of Communications:

“This is such a brilliant time to join the Comms Team at Citizen. We're a super supportive, ambitious and fun team. We've made lots of progress with internal comms but there's so much more we want to achieve because internal comms is an absolute must for organisational success. You'll have the opportunity to lead on a channel strategy working with brilliant colleagues to take things to the next level. Three things are key for me: brilliant relationship building (at all levels), high levels of emotional intelligence, and super organisational skills..”
