Position: Income Advisor

Salary: £30,080 

Basis: Permanent, Full-Time, Monday to Friday on a rota basis 8am - 6pm

Location: Birmingham, B37 7YN (Hybrid working 2 days from an office)

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of an Income Advisor will involve:

• Delivering excellent customer service to both inbound and outbound customer contacts.
• Supporting local income teams to achieve collection targets.
• Working positively to sustain tenancies whilst maximising the collection of rent to meet key business and service targets.
• Proactively contacting customers with debt to obtain payments, sign posting customers to benefit and money advice services where appropriate; promoting and setting up direct debits.

As an Income Advisor we need you to have:

• Excellent customer and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering the best outcomes for people with a positive, can-do mindset.
• Excellent administrative skills to effectively collect and update customer profiling data.

We would be really excited if you have:

• Experience of working for a housing provider or local authority.
• The ability to work in a busy environment.
• Proven excellent customer service skills and experience.
