We’re looking for a dependable Cleaning Technician to help keep Citizen’s offices, sheltered housing, and communal residential areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

Position: Cleaning Technician

Salary: £24,897 + 4% pay award from 1st April 2026

Location: St John Kemble Court, HR2 7BW (Hereford and surrounding areas)

Basis: Permanent, 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Sunday 5 working days over 7

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll deliver high-quality cleaning services across a range of sites in Hereford and surrounding areas, working flexibly and taking pride in maintaining excellent standards. Duties include:

  • Cleaning communal areas, offices, and specialist housing
  • Carrying out block inspections and dealing with hazards or spillages
  • Using a range of cleaning methods and equipment
  • Removing litter, refuse, and small-scale graffiti
  • Completing daily and weekly checks, including basic fire safety checks
  • Reporting repairs, damage, and larger waste issues
  • Working independently and as part of a team

Qualifications and experience:

You’ll have:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • A good understanding of basic health & safety
  • A reliable, professional approach
  • The ability to meet set standards and deadlines
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive a small company van

Please note: This role requires a basic DBS check.
