Position: Trade Engineer – Carpenter (Multi-Skilled)

Salary: £37,778 per annum

Location: Birmingham and Coventry

Hours: 37 hours per week (10 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs, 10:30 - 6pm Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a versatile Trade Engineer – Carpenter (Multi-Skilled) to join our team working across Birmingham and Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified carpenter with experience in maintenance and building services, particularly within the social housing sector.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement primary carpentry activities
• Carry out all works in line with recognised industry regulations and health & safety standards
• Provide on-site support to fellow trade engineers as required to ensure effective service delivery
• Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications and experience:

• Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
• Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (desirable)
• CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
• Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
• Sound knowledge of carpentry and associated trade skills
• Experience working within the social housing sector
• Proven understanding of health and safety best practice, with the ability to demonstrate how compliance has been maintained within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
